Our Arlington health center is conveniently located off I-20 and  Matlock Road in south Arlington.  Serving the communities of Arlington, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie and Mansfield since 2008, this location is open Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm.

Leo Jeng, MD
Medical Doctor
Dr. Leo Jeng was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Stanford University for his undergraduate degree followed by the Medical College of Georgia for medical school. Dr. Jeng completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University and his Endocrine Fellowship at the University of Texas Houston Health. Dr. Jeng chose to specialize in diabetes care because both of his grandmothers and several family members have been diagnosed with diabetes as well as a few close personal friends. He has seen first hand the difficulties of managing this disease and the complications that arise when it is not properly treated. He is excited about being a part of a comprehensive team to offer the best treatment available to patients with diabetes. Diabetes is a complicated disease that affects multiple organ systems and requires a multifaceted approach with education as well as medications that target the different pathways. Dr. Jeng sincerely believes in the DA model that brings educators and physicians together as a team to provide the best care available. Dr. Jeng and his wife, Jane have a two year daughter, Julia. He enjoys playing with his daughter, going to church and playing tennis.
Gauri Junnarkar
Diabetes Educator

Gauri was born and raised in Mumbai, India. She received her undergraduate degree in Ayurvedic medicine and went on to receive a Masters of Science in Nutrition. Gauri is a Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered and Licensed Dietitian.

Prior to working at DiabetesAmerica, Gauri worked as a Diabetes Educator at the Baylor All Saints Diabetes Center. She chose to specialize in diabetes care because she feels that as a dietitian, she could make a big impact working with in diabetes care. Gauri is excited to be a part of an advanced diabetes care provider like DiabetesAmerica team because it provides all the diabetes care under one roof, be it pump initiation or insulin starts or starting a new medication.

Gauri is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have a son. In her leisure time, she loves spending time with her family, meeting friends, reading and cooking.

Jane Ko, MD
Medical Doctor
Dr. Jane Ko is originally from Dallas, TX. She completed her undergraduate training at Cornell University. She graduated from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and did her internal medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta. She worked as a hospitalist at a community hospital near Atlanta and also worked in primary care at Kaiser Permanente. In 2009, Dr. Ko moved with her husband to Houston where she worked at Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center prior to her start at DiabetesAmerica. She began her journey with DA at the Cy-Fair and Katy locations in Houston before moving to Arlington. Dr. Ko enjoys taking care of patients with diabetes and educating patients. She has spent time in the past as a medical educator for a children’s diabetes camp. In her spare time, Dr. Ko enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, piano and being a mom.
